This is the shrug for my niece. I'm quite please with how it turned out. Now I just have to get it into the mail before her actual birthday in a week. It was an easy knit and I practiced my left hand knitting on this piece which gave me the chance to get quite good at it. It's easier to knit left hand when using 2 straight needles, something I realized when I started this that I rarely do. I'm always on circulars or dpns.
I just got hooked on knitting around the beginning of November 2006. I enjoy checking out what projects other knitters have completed so I thought it would be fun to keep a record of my own. And there is no better time to start than the beginning of a new year. So all my projects completed, starting with January 2007, will be recorded here. Happy Knitting!

I've just read Tanya's blog, now yours. I have mixed up feeling about being astonished by all your productions... or being just plain jalous.
ReplyDeleteVery nice wrap, do you think we'll get to see a picture of the niece wearing it?
